Godfrey is a Senior official working with Metrological Department which is a independent authority under of the ministry of water and environment. Uganda National Meteorological Authority is a semi-autonomous government agency mandated to offer weather and climate services, and to analyze scientific research findings and provide guidance on climate change
Currently Godfrey is the focus person in one project implemented by UNMA – Component 3 :
This project is part of the joint project implemented by a number of key partner organisation with the sector namely Ministry of Water and Environment, National Forest Authority, Ministry of Agriculture, Animal Industry and Fisheries; Water Resources Department; Uganda Wildlife Authority Uganda Tourism Board, UNDP, Ministry of Economic Planning and Development, Department of Wetlands Management. And implemented facilitation and project modality supported by UNDP and funding from government of Uganda and GCF.
